Dinosaur Icebreaker Games

If you're child loves roaring T-Rexes, soaring pterodactyls, and huge brontosauruses, then a dinosaur party would be just right for them. What better way for a child to spend their birthday than to be surrounded by family, friends, and all of their favorite giant reptilian pals? There a lot of games and activities you can use for a party with a dinosaur theme. Kids can be shy around each other when meeting for the first time, so an icebreaker game is a great way to get them warmed up to each other and having a good time. A great ice breaker game to play is Dinosaur Hunt. Before the party, buy a stuffed dinosaur. Have everyone close their eyes while the birthday boy or girl goes through the house to hide the animal (within an area you've designated as okay). When they're done hiding it, turn them loose to “hunt” the hidden dino. Let the kids take as long as they need to to find the dinosaur. In fact, make the game increasingly difficult by making the hiding places more elaborate each round. Whoever finds the dino first, wins. You can play as many rounds as you'd like. This game is sure to have everyone laughing and running around as they try to hunt the dinosaur while putting everyone at ease with each other!
