Flag Day History Flag Day is a holiday celebrated on June 14th each year in the United States as a way to commemorate the adoption of the American Flag in 1777. Party Activities Fun activities for Flag Day include attending parades, playing baseball, and even visiting with veterans. Flag Day Party Colors Everyone loves a party, especially one which shows patriotism. Flag Day is traditionally celebrated with parties and observances which are red, white, and blue. Party Favors Miniature flags, patriotic leis, and even patriotic necklaces and beads make for great Flag Day party favors. Some party hosts also give out red, white and blue colored LED sunglasses to their guests.
