Indianapolis 500 Icebreaker Games
Indianapolis 500 party games are great ways to get party guests more familiar with one another while encouraging fun play.
Balloon Mine Field is a fun party game that can be easily set up in the party hosts backyard. To begin, set up a mine field by randomly placing the water balloons (or cups) in the play area. Divide players into teams and give each member of the team a blindfold. The team who can successfully navigate the mine field with the fewest members stepping on the water balloons of knocking over the cups is the winning team. If opposing team members collide during the race and come in contact with the water balloons or cups then they are casualties of the mine field and eliminated. What is not encourage is pulling or pushing opposing player down.
A simple game that is fun but requires some excellent endurance and coordination is water cup relay. Players must place water cups or measuring cups on top of their heads and run around objects in a circle like on a race track. The player who can reach the start to finish line the fastest spilling the least amount of water is the winner. This game can be down individually or in a team relay race format.
