Medieval Party Drink Ideas
Gearing up for a historic time at this year’s Medieval Party to really celebrate the past like never before. The guest will find themselves in a Medieval Party Theme for the celebration. Now one common drink to be served at such a party would be mead, also known as ale. However here’s a different idea, Medinah made with 2 oz of coconut rum, 4 oz of Sunkist orange soda and 4 oz of Sunny Delight orange juice. Once ready pour ingredients over ice and mix well in a glass. Here’s another drink to consider Merlin’s Love Potion made with 2 oz watermelon schnapps, ½ oz lemon vodka, ¼ oz strawberry brandy. Next shake and strain into a champagne saucer filled with crushed ice, then garnish with a lemon slice and sugar dipped strawberry. Each drink offers something different for the guest attending the party.
Medieval Gift Ideas
What we need to focus on next is some Medieval Gifts that will work for the party. The men attending a Medieval Party would enjoy seeing some jousting and sword fighting. Now one gift idea would be in fact to give that special someone a sword with scabbard and shield as a gift. Perhaps they might prefer a gift of chain mail to wear, however maybe more practical might be just some books about knights wearing armor.
Medieval Party Theme
Keep the party theme flowing throughout each aspect of
the event. First, the party invitations set the theme and tone of
the occasion. Some guests will bring gifts based on the Medieval
party theme. Use Medieval
decorations, centerpieces,
tablecovers, Thank you notes, invitations, party supplies, hats, blowouts, confetti,

with Medieval party favors.

Serving medieval fare in a medieval banquet can be an excellent way to theme a party. Don’t prepare fancy food but prepare lots of good, hearty food that can be picked up and eaten. Wenches should serve chicken wings, chicken pieces, ribs and other meat that you can easily devour with your hands as well as large jugs of ale. Decorate your banquet hall using armor, weapons and other cutouts that give your banquet hall a truly medieval feel. Pictures of knights defeating dragons are another good choice and you could always ‘employ’ a court jester or musician.
