MLB Baseball Icebreaker Games
MLB Baseball party for a young fan of baseball makes for a wonderful celebration. There are many baseball related games that can be played with the standard baseball equipment and not so standard equipment.
Pool Baseball is a fun game that requires four mini pool set up like a baseball diamond. Between each mini pool, lay down Slip 'n Slides. Soak those strips and squirt them with liquid soap. Use wiffle ball and bat for play. Separate the players into two teams of four with one group from one team in the pool. Instead of running to the bases (mini pools) the players must slide. The game is played like a ordinary game of baseball. If a ball is hit to the players in the pool they can step out of the pool to get the ball and throw it to the first base to record an out.
Hop Baseball is played like a standard game of baseball but instead of running to the desired based the players must hop with two feet like a bunny rabbit or hop on one foot before reaching the base. Other variations include running backwards, crawling on hands and knees etc.
Water Balloon Baseball Home Run Derby is a fun game in which everyone will get sprayed with water. Fill up water balloons about the size of a baseball. Give each player ten outs, an out is recorded when the batter swings and misses the water balloon or hits the water balloon and it does not break. Home runs are recorded when the water balloon is hit and breaks.
